Editorial Policy

Last updated: 5 April 2026

1. Our Editorial Standards

We publish content to help South African businesses understand and adopt AI automation. All content is written or reviewed by our team with 28+ years combined IT experience across infrastructure, software architecture, business development, and AI implementation.

Our goal is to provide accurate, practical, and actionable information that helps business owners make informed decisions about AI adoption: whether or not they choose to work with us.

2. Content Creation Process

  • Research: We research topics using primary sources, industry reports, official documentation, and our direct experience implementing AI solutions for South African businesses.
  • Writing: Content is written by team members with hands-on AI implementation experience. We prioritise practical advice over theoretical discussion.
  • Review: All articles are reviewed for technical accuracy by Loxly Atkinson (CEO, 10+ years IT architecture and infrastructure) before publication.
  • Updates: We review published content quarterly and update articles when information becomes outdated, tools change, or new best practices emerge.

3. Case Studies and Statistics

  • Case study data comes from real client engagements with client permission.
  • Performance metrics are measured using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
  • We clearly label estimates versus measured results.
  • ROI projections are based on actual implementation data from our client work.
  • Where we cite third-party statistics, we link to the original source.

4. AI-Assisted Content

We use AI tools to assist with research, drafting, and data analysis. This is consistent with our position as an AI solutions company: we use the tools we recommend to our clients.

All AI-generated content is reviewed, fact-checked, and edited by our team before publication. Final editorial decisions: what to publish, what claims to make, what advice to give, are made by humans, not AI.

5. Corrections and Updates

  • If you find a factual error in our content, please email us at loxly@smartaisolutions.co.za.
  • We commit to reviewing and correcting factual errors within 48 hours of notification.
  • Minor corrections (typos, formatting) are made silently.
  • Material corrections (factual errors, changed recommendations) are noted at the bottom of the article with the date of correction.
